2017 “P” LINCOLN CENT NGC MS67 RD LYNDALL BASS SIGNATURE - FIRST EVER ONE CENT COIN WITH  “P” MINT MARK

About this coin

The 2017 P Lincoln cent was minted in recognition of the U.S. Mint’s 225th anniversary on April 2. This coin holds the unique distinction of being the first-ever United States one-cent coin to bear Philadelphia’s “P” mintmark, breaking a tradition that has been maintained since the first official Federal one-cent coins were produced in 1793.

This highly coveted coin is a one-year-only series, as coins issued before or after 2017 have no mintmark. We showcase it in the high numismatic grade of MS67RD by NGC. The collectible value is further enhanced by being individually hand-signed by Lyndall Bass, the designer of the Union Shield, first issued in 2010 and emblematic of Lincoln’s preservation of the United States as a single and united country. It features a Union Shield with 13 vertical stripes and our national motto “E Pluribus Unum” in a horizontal bar above. A banner drapes across the front with the denomination. This coin is a great value at $99.95 and an affordable way to add a historic U.S Signature Series coin to your collection.
