2021 4-PC Gold Eagle Set NGC MS70 – First Coins with Type 2 Design
For the first time since their introduction more than three decades ago in 1986, the American Eagle Gold has a new design. We offer this historic key date first year of issue Type 2 design set certified in flawless MS70 condition by NGC. In addition, each coin in these sets has been individually hand-signed by Edmund C. Moy, 38th, and David J. Ryder 39th Director of the United States Mint. Together these men were responsible for making the American Gold Eagle series the most innovative and widely collected gold coin series in the world.
Condition
Coins are graded on a 70-point basis. Each coin in this complete set is graded in flawless MS70 condition. This means the coins have no post-production imperfections even under magnification. The eye appeal of these sets is enhanced through their presentation in black core holders. Two signatures are better than one! Signature coins are certified coins whose labels have been hand-signed by someone with a strong personal connection to a particular coin. Signature coins allow collectors to customize their sets, enhance the quality of presentation, and add a level of exclusivity and collectability. These are the only sets signed by two U.S. Mint Directors.
