PCGS Certified Coins Signed by Emily S. Damtra

Emily S. Damstra designed the reverse of the 2021 American Silver Eagle, the best-selling modern issue silver bullion, investment, and collector coin in the world. Her initials ESD appear of every coin. Damstra has designed thirty-nine other coins for the United States and Royal Canadian Mints and postage stamps for the United Nations. Two of the coins she designed, the 2017 Boys Town Centennial Commemorative and the 2014 Maple Leaf tree canopy won the prestigious Coin of the Year COTY award. Her 2018 design depicting two women with cancer was chosen as the obverse for the U.S. Mint Breast Cancer Awareness Silver Dollar Coin and the $5 Gold Coin, minted with a distinctive pink hue.

Emily S. Damstra is one of the best-known members of the U.S. Mints Artistic Infusion Program (AIP).  The AIP program overseen by David Ryder, 34th and 39th Director of the U.S. Mint engages talented artists to work alongside Mint employees to create new designs for U.S. coins. She has entered into an exclusive agreement to sign coins certified by PCGS. There is no NGC-certified option for the Damstra signature.

The PCGS certified slabs identify Emily S. Damstra as a Master Designer and display the motto - Diligence, Cooperation, Care, and Attention, the inspiration for her 2021 Silver Eagle design. In 2021 the Damstra signature outsold any other coin
